It seems to me that Christians have become so worried about what will be thought of them if they stand up for what the bible actually says, that we have started to not only represent the Gospel so very poorly, but have become a horrible caricature of what a Christian ought to be.

If the truth matters, and I believe it does, then shouldn’t the transformational truth-claims about God be quite evident in the way our lives are lived out and how we treat others — even devout atheists? In today’s NFL, with all the Free Agency and Salary Caps, wouldn’t you have to agree that Bill Belichick ranks up there with the all-time greatest coaches? He completely dismantled what is likely one of the highest-powered offenses ever in the Indianapolis Colts. Went into Heinz Field this …

I’m still waiting for that new “Star Trek” technology. You know, where we don’t have to drive anymore, but will be able to go anywhere we want in the blink of an eye simply by being “beamed up” or “over” or “down” or whatever? But, I guess until …

I hate the “post-Christmas/New Year” feeling. It’s a little depressing, though I don’t know why. Maybe it is the weather…..but, actually it warmed up here. I suppose we all get sucked into celebrating Christmas for the wrong reasons…..I enjoy my family…even my “in-laws.” It was great to get to spend …
